Mission

The YWCA of Alexandria-Pineville is a movement rooted in faith and nourished by the resources of our community. The YWCA seeks to respond to the needs of the total woman regardless of age, race, religion, or financial status. In conjunction with other agencies, we seek to make effective changes in our community.

In the 21st Century, the YWCA of Alexandria-Pineville is a respected voice for women. It fosters women’s leadership and provides services for women and their families. The YWCA focuses on the welfare and equality of women, the well being of their families, and the elimination of racism.
